We came together to form Gentoo Partners as we both believe in the power of people within organisations, and the difference that this can make for everyone. We have both worked independently with a wide range of different teams and people to unlock their potential and become the best version of themselves that they can be and seen the absolutely amazing results that can be achieved when this happens.
It made sense for us to work together, pooling our experience to support organisations to achieve the flexibility and success they strive for, at the same time as supporting people to grow and thrive. Workplaces that are built on trust, personal growth, wellbeing and gratitude create environments where people flourish, and when people perform, organisations grow.
Our passion for people brought us together and is a core element of everything we do. Our Story
Our passion is to support everyone to be the best version of themselves in the workplace, whether this is working with your organisation as a whole, the individuals within the organisation, or supporting you on a one-to-one basis.
The services that we offer can be scaled both up or down to meet your exact requirements, and we always work with you to ensure that the solution we support you with is tailored to your requirements.
Why the name Gentoo?
Well, we are two Jens, which was our starting point. Just as we decided to be brave and start our business adventure, a Gentoo penguin was born in our favourite hometown visitor attraction of the Deep in Hull. It was there, on a day out with our kids, that we learned what an amazing creature this penguin is, they are fiercely loyal, and shed their feathers every year to rejuvenate themselves, and it all just fell into place for us.
